• Asians are left out of diversity efforts.
• People think Asians are already successful.
• Very few efforts are focused on helping Asians move up.

Our Solution: A startup school to help Asian high school, college, and recent graduate students build their first company in 5 weeks.

Our Mission: We want to increase the number of Asian leaders and change-makers in the world.

• Filing for non-profit status
• Applications due on 7/1/24
• Program (virtual) begins 8/26/24

Outcomes:

• Gain real world experience designing and developing products for real people
• Develop a roadmap for bringing ideas to life and changing the world
• After the program, students have the option to:
  • Continue building your startup
  • Intern at a top-tier startup
  • Apply to a top-tier accelerator
  • Raise venture capital

  • Here is a list of our outstanding mentors
  • You will learn best practices for brainstorming, prototyping, validating, sales, marketing, and pitching
  • You will receive 2 lectures and 1 guest speaker every week
  • You will receive weekly 1-on-1 and team mentorship
• Community
  • You will hear from top entrepreneurs and investors sharing their journey, mistakes, and experiences
  • You will compete in an international pitch competition at the end

• We don't care about your resume or credentials
• We value your curiosity, passion, resilience, empathy, and drive

Commitment:

• $500
  • All money will be used towards sustaining SpeakUp Ventures’ mission
• 10+ hrs / week
